One of my families favourite walks. Walk along the river from Grassington to Burnsall, lots for the children to see. Some geocaches on route. Stepping stones or a wobbly suspension bridge to cross the river. At Burnsall we stop for lunch in one of the cafes or pubs, and then return.
Beacons: 84 | Distance: 8 miles | Height Gain: 531 ft
A walk along part of the Ribble Way from Clitheroe to Grindleton returning along the other side of the River. On this walk look out for Deer, Peregrine Falcons, and Kingfishers plus if you are really lucky otters.

A walk from Barley up Pendle Hill
Beacons: 91 | Distance: 4 miles | Height Gain: 1,158 ft
A short linear walk along the Esplanade at Grange. Walk in between the Estuary and the railway track

Walk starting from the The Pheasant Inn at Allithwaite. This walk about 5 miles takes you up and around Humphrey's Head.
