[11th - 24th May 2011] public

The TGO Challenge is an annual self-supported walking event across the Highlands of Scotland, west coast to east coast. It started in 1980 and was the brainchild of the well-known writer and mountaineer, Hamish Brown. The Challenge is held every May and is sponsored by TGO, the walkers' magazine, in partnership with Rab, the outdoor equipment specialist. FelicityM : @philoutdoors The old track S of Tibbermore, parallel to road you're on, leads into Perth via Noah's Ark. Think there's an FP sign off road.

FelicityM : @philoutdoors To avoid tarmac in Glen Lednock, take the path at Funtulich down E side of river, then turn off before Balmuick to Shaky Brig.

FelicityM : @philoutdoors From Shaky Brig you can walk either side of the River Lednock, on E path thru Laggan Wood or on W past Deil's Cauldron.
