Hiking Barf - Lake District
[7th Jul 2015] public

Barf is small outlying fell overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. A two mile round trip to the summit sees you ascending through steep pine forests, scrambling over a rocky outcrop and eventually traversing an airy path to the top. The views you are eventually rewarded with are tremendous.
