Hiking Birks and Arnison Crag 10 Sep 2013 18:25
[10th Sep 2013] public

Lucky enough to have a nice evening to get out in the hills. Quite a steep ascent up to Birks but the beautiful views of Ullswater made it bearable. Was very windy on the top and nearly blew me off my feet. Quite a nice descent and ascent up to Arnison and agai stunning views. Helvellyn was shrouded in cloud so no sunset. Light was fading on the descent back to the car.
