The Buttermere Ridge - Lake District

The Buttermere Ridge - Lake District jamehand

12th Jul 2012

One of the truly classic high-fell rounds. Here High Stile is the centrepiece of a magnificent fell massif abruptly looming above Buttermere. The ridge-top walking once attained is sublime with some of the best views lakeland has to offer before finishing off with a traverse beneath the steep flanks of Hay Stacks.
