Superb weather, light & scenery on a route with views to classic hills along a quiet valley. Very few people about, loads of flies & a knackering return on the south shore Lake path. Think the north side would be better for the return. Would have included Pillar if we had more time. Nice meal in the Ennerdale Bridge pub after.
