From the Kirkstile Inn, Mellbreak rises like a colossus, but it also looks near impenetrable! The climb via this route however is a pleasant, steady and direct ascent, despite the loose shards and a lack of pitching taking the walker directly to the heather clad north summit!
Beacons: 160 | Distance: 4.6 miles | Height Gain: 1,831 ft
