Pillar, Steeple and Red Pike. We'd already done Yewbarrow (Poobarrow) and decided to leave Kirk Fell to an Ennerdale trip in future.

Superb weather, light & scenery on a route with views to classic hills along a quiet valley. Very few people about, loads of flies & a knackering return on the south shore Lake path. Think the north side would be better for the return. Would have included Pillar if we had more time. Nice meal in the Ennerdale Bridge pub after.

The toughest walk I have ever done. Kirkfell was Gary aka @northlakesuk last Wainwright. Kirkfell is a very tough ascent, I nearly cried. Very windy on the tops but a good day in the hills with amazing views.
