Lake District: The Eskdale Escapade backpackartist

Out for a week or as many days as the weather is ok. The aim is to revisit places I've not been for 5 years or so, to pick off some peaks not yet bagged on Social Hiking, to visit some new tarns and generally enjoy the best bit of Lakeland with some (hopefully) great camps.

Scafell Pike and Scafell from Eskdale over 2 Days sdb_101
30th - 31st Jul 2015
A long walk from Jubilee Bridge along the river Esk into upper Eskdale. Climbed Scafell Pike via Little Narrowcove, then onto Lingmell before climbing Scafell via Lords Rake. Camp on Scafell summit and then back next day over Slight Side
